'Be strong'
“Like many of you right now, I am working from home. Working or studying at home is not always fun. As your new president, I find it a real pity not to be able to meet you all in person and make valuable new contacts with students and colleagues.”
Brinksma calls on the community to ‘be strong and persevere until there is a workable solution in the fight against corona’. “We have to do that together. There is no denying that we are facing difficult times, but by relying on our community and not forgetting science, we will get through this.”
