Picnic in the Oude Plantage: ‘We zoomed for five hours yesterday’
First-year student Bailey de Regt zoomed for five hours on Monday thinks it is ‘super cool’ to finally meet his fellow group members. “It’s nice to see the familiar faces from yesterday.” Tjomme Dirks also likes being together. “I find it difficult to communicate online. In real life you communicate more than with words and that is difficult to do online,” he says. “It also feels formal to start online.”
