Erasmus TV: many students lack proper facilities to follow online education
Almost twenty per cent of students don’t have a proper internet connection or a webcam. This is a big problem when they have to follow online lectures or sit online exams. In this episode, rector magnificus Rutger Engels and Margot Bleeker of Erasmus Trust Fund explain that students can apply for financial support. Nevertheless, RSM student and member of University Council Younes Assou thinks that this won’t solve the problems. Assou: “More than 23 per cent of students come from a low-income family.”
