Campus Talk: ‘Those keyboards are fucking gross’
According to statistics, 50 percent of Dutch people don’t wash their hands after using the toilet, but it seems that this is not the case among EUR students. “I always wash my hands, but I know a lot of people who don’t,” says Business Administration student Jack. “Many people here also use the same keyboards on common computers and they are fucking gross.”
Students do not wash their hands more often, but more thoroughly. They also take necessary measures to ensure their hygiene. “I never touch door handles, for example,” says Economics student Fabrizio. “I then use my elbow to open the doors, because there is no point in washing your hands if you then touch the door handles.”
“The deaths are mostly elderly. I am young and healthy, so I am not really afraid of it, ”says psychology student Rick. Student Riëtte: “I’m not afraid of it. I live with the motto “man suffers most from the suffering he fears”.
