All Erasmus MC lectures and exams will be discontinued starting Friday
The faculty board of Erasmus MC has decided to discontinue all educational activities, including all exams, due to Covid-19. It concerns all bachelor’s and master’s programs of the medical faculty.

It concerns the studies Medicine, Nanobiology, Clinical Technology, Technical Medicine and five research masters. The Education Center will also be closed and therefore cannot be used for self-study. Internships abroad are also no longer allowed.
The measures taken by the Faculty of Medicine because of the corona epidemic are stricter than at other faculties, in order to disturb the work in the hospital as little as possible. Erasmus MC also wants to keep as many staff as possible available for patient care.
Drastic measure
“We fully realise that this is a drastic measure that we as a faculty are now obliged to take. However, we do this to avoid worse and will do our utmost to minimise the impact on both you and our students and provide appropriate solutions. Conversely, we would like to count on your understanding and your cooperation in this matter”, the faculty board wrote in an email to the medical students.
