The campus through the eyes of ‘ikRotterdam’
The collective ikRotterdam consists of the artists Evalien Lang, Ferry van Steijn and Mark Kolle, who all graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy, here in Rotterdam ofcourse.

With a sharp eye for interesting details, they observe the physical space in Rotterdam for Vers Beton (the online magazine for the hard-thinking Rotterdammer), among others. Since 2011 they have been making the series ‘I don’t need to go on holiday because I live in Rotterdam’ on their blog ikRotterdam.nl. They prefer to illustrate everyday scenes in their city. And now they’re going to take a closer look at the university too.
Every month, the new image column will appear exclusively in EM’s weekly newsletter.
