Video: Room hunting, the struggle is real
The first week of the new academic year has made it quite easy to spot freshmen. You will find many of them looking on Google Maps, desperately trying to find the building they should have been in five minutes ago. After classes they leave campus and head on home, that is if they have found one yet.
It seems many first year students still haven’t found a place to stay in Rotterdam, forcing them to stay in hostels, with friends or in some other city. Those who are lucky enough to have found a room or apartment in the Erasmus city often have some interesting stories about how they got the room and how they curved the many scams plaguing students in need of housing.
