While many people were struggling to get to the campus at all, the ones that were already there made the most of it. And with ‘it’, we mean throwing snowballs as hard at each other as they could. An impression of Erasmus Plaza this afternoon.
For the French exchange student Margot Moinard (23, IBCoM, left) it’s the first time to witness snow. “There’s no snow in the place I’m from. I feel like a child right now”, she said. “I’m happy there aren’t too many no transportation problems because of the snow.” She is in the picture with Sungeun Kim (22, also IBCoM) from South Korea.
Jurgen Booi (24, RSM) is from Aruba. “A very warm island and it never snows there. I am very excited to see snow today, it is the third time I experience it!”
Quentin Garnier (19, in the red scarf) from France is throwing snowballs with his groupmates. Today, Quentin had an exam. ”It’s a way to relief stress after the exam.”
Jonathan van Raaij (23, RSM, left) and Daniël Remmers (23, ESL) aren’t too excited about the snow. “We had hoped it only lasted for one day, not more.”
William Butler (20), Rastin Homayounbod (18), Julia Trummer (19) and Danny Filipovic (19), all from IBA, were all having fun in the snow. “We were supposed to have a meeting, it turned into playing snowballs instead”, one of them said.
