Assault at Amsterdam student fraternity

Three members of the Amsterdam student fraternity A.S.C./A.V.S.V have knocked out a tooth of an aspiring member. The Public Prosecutor is investigating the assault.
The president of the association told the NRC Handelsblad that he supports the report of the victim of the assault. The three members of the fraternity Atomos have been suspended while the Public Prosecutor is conducting its enquiry. Internal legal proceedings will also be held within the association.
Fraternity tie
The new member had nearly got his fraternity tie, but three members of Atomos apparently did not agree. In the club toilet, it is claimed that they therefore assaulted him.
Recently the Public Prosecutor also decided to prosecute the Groningen student fraternity Vindicat for assault. The same applies to five Leiden University students who painted over a rainbow coloured ‘gaybra crossing’, while one of them gave the Hitler salute.
