Photos: Eurekaweek has started

Studentenverenigingen wachten tot ze hun club mogen presenteren.
It’s finally happened, the Eureka Week has begun. Just under 3,000 freshmen began their college year at De Doelen.
At congress and concert hall De Doelen, Huibert Pols, the rector magnificus of Erasmus University addressed the new batch of EUR students. First with some fatherly advice: “Studying is not a sidejob.” But he ended on a positive note: “There’s a great chance that you’ll encounter your life partner during your student-life.”
New this year were the theatrical interludes in which the life of a student living in a dorm – they exaggerated it somewhat – was represented. The moral of the story: everyone will have expectations about what they want you to do, choose your own path.
