Rotterdam a city for students

Rotterdam is not exactly known as a student city prototype. For a long time the city was not being considered by graduates as a place to settle down. Now the municipality is doing everything to attract and preserve graduates. For EM a good time to ask what students think about Rotterdam.
17.521 students live in Rotterdam. Slightly more than half of them are students at the Erasmus University. A small group if you compare it to the total amount of people living in Rotterdam, but in Kralingen, the city centre, Delfshaven and the North district at least one in ten inhabitants are students. In a survey of over 250 students EM examined how they feel about the city. Do they feel safe in Rotterdam? What image do the students have of the city? What are they doing in Rotterdam at the moments that are not studying? You see it in the following infographic.
