When the second section of the car park under Erasmus Plaza opens in April, the number of parking places will actually only rise by 92. This is because construction of Park North will start immediately. However, lots of ‘metal’ will disappear from view: the car park to the north of the campus will then be closed.
The campus currently has 1420 parking places. During peak hours, between 1300 and 1400 of these are in use. Due to the opening of the Polak building on 1 September, the number of places required according to the municipal norm rose by 66 to 1414. The number of parking places on campus therefore exceeds the required number.
