Big differences in parental contribution

Nearly 20 percent of students who entered the EM study received no financial support from their parents. The reason why the parents did not contribute was usually not from unwillingness, but simply because it is not financially possible for them.
Almost half of the students receive between 1 and a 100 euro from mom and dad. One student is lucky, he or she receives a monthly check of 1951 euros.
