Refugees leave campus Woudestein

The 213 refugees, that were hosted on campus for the past seven days, departed this Thursday. They will travel by bus to other emergency accomodations in Harlingen and Hellendoorn, where they will be able to stay for 72 hours.
Sportcentrum donderdagavond weer open
Erasmus Sport is now going to be tidied up and cleaned. At 7 PM Thursday night the sports centre will reopen for students and employees.
According to a spokesperson of mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb, Erasmus Sport will still be available for future reception of refugees. However the municipality hasn’t received any request from COA, the organization that arranges the reception of refugees in the Netherlands.
De Jong emphasized mayor Aboutaleb is very impressed by the way the refugees were received by the Erasmus University community.
