Rotterdam among ten best cities in the world

We obviously knew already, but now travel guide publisher Rough Guide also writes that Rotterdam is the place to be in 2014. The guide has listed the Maas City in its top 10 of cities to visit this year.

The reasons which the travel guide producer adduces will not be shared by every Rotterdam citizen. Rough Guide mentions among others the Rotterdam, the new vertical city by Rem Koolhaas, and the still in the construction phase Markthal near Blaak station, which is the best place for a snack, according to the guide, as tourist tips. Other cities in the top 10 are Rio de Janeiro, Sarajevo. Liverpool, Umeå, Lviv, Marseille, Almaty, Glasgow and Portland. TF
