ESN Rotterdam is hosting the ESN CNR (Erasmus Student Network Council of National Representatives), that is going to be held from Thursday until Sunday. National representatives of all countries connected to ESN will meet in Rotterdam to discuss the main targets of the organisation.
The global ESN organisation aims to support international students across the globe, and has a wide variety of activities. Their aims are for instance to motivate students to go abroad, to improve integration of international students and to provide them with the information they need. These aims and goals are discussed and evaluated annually in the CNR meetings.
Representatives of 36 different countries will visit Rotterdam for a series of meetings, but also for some fun activities such as the 25th Erasmus Anniversary Boat Gala and a party at the VIP room. The choice of location of the CNR is based on a lobbying procedure, in which ESN boards of different cities compete to host the meeting. ESN Rotterdam only exists since 2008, so it is quite an honour for them to host this big event already. IS
