Sustainability Chair for Gail Whiteman
Gail Whiteman, known among EM readers for her sharp columns, has been appointed to hold the new Sustainability and Climate Change Chair at RSM.
“The main purpose of the chair is to explore the management challenges and opportunities of sustainability and climate change”, ms Whiteman says. As cofounder and director of the Sustainability and Research Centre at RSM, and with her research having been published broadly in leading journals and media in different countries, ms Whiteman is the perfect person to hold the new chair. Her future research will focus on governments as well as businesses. “My overall ambition is to develop top research in the fields of sustainability and climate change and further extend our already internationally recognized research centre. Moreover, I want to maintain a prominent place for sustainability and climate change in the curriculum of RSM”, ms Whiteman adds. KL
