Fourth edition InScience in the sign of Artificial Intelligence

The fourth edition of InScience is dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and its consequences for society. The best science films that have appeared worldwide the past year form the core of the program. This makes InScience a unique festival in the Netherlands. InScience, International Science Film Festival, takes place from 7 to 11 November in Nijmegen. Opinions on the matter are divided: some find AI scary, while others find it exciting. On the program for InScience this year are: all the best movies about science that have been launched this year and famous scientists talking about their visions on AI. Among the guests are historian and philosopher Philip Blom on the consequences of artificial intelligence, Max Welling (UvA) on the power of self-teaching systems in combination with data processing and Pim Haselager (Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour)  on robotics and ethical issues. In addition to this, there is a competitive program for the best movies (NTR audience award), and a NTR student award.
