Work: Erasmus Magazine seeks student with journalistic and social media ambition
Do you study at Erasmus University and want to gain experience while working in journalism? If so, Erasmus Magazine is looking for you!
Erasmus Magazine (EM) is the independent news platform of Erasmus University. We produce engaging, enjoyable and critical stories and videos for our website and social media about the university, education and science, and student life in Rotterdam.
Who we are looking for:
A social media editor who can translate journalistic stories into social media content both in text and in images. Creativity and innovative ideas are essential to bring EM to our readers via our socials.
We appreciate it if you already have some experience, but this is not essential. It would be great if you know how to take a photo!
We do expect you to be available for at least the entire academic year 2026 – 2027 to produce several posts each week. Naturally, we take your study commitments into account.
A good command of the Dutch language is an advantage.
What we offer:
A substantively interesting part-time job in which you gain experience and can explore whether a journalistic career is right for you. You will be paid for the work you do for EM. You will be guided in your work by professional journalists and become part of a friendly, committed and sharp-minded team.
