Tristan Calon has been living above the temptations of the Witte de Withstraat’s many pubs and cosy terraces for a month now. So far, the 19-year-old medical student has been able to resist the temptations downstairs. \u201cWe’ll have to see if it stays that way,\u201d adds housemate Jo\u00ebl dryly. The temptation increases when the sun comes out.<\/p>\n

The house is full of people from the province of Zeeland: the housemates Jo\u00ebl and Martinique are also from Zeelandic Flanders. They both had to move out of their previous home on 1 January, and Tristan was also looking for something else. A broker found this accommodation above restaurant Obba\u2019s and the boys were over the moon. The house is at a slight angle: if Tristan isn\u2019t careful when getting out of bed, he\u2019ll roll in the direction of the pubs. \u201cIt\u2019s a dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t
