As of 1 January, clinical placement students at a university medical centers are entitled to a gross reimbursement of 100 euro per month. This important breakthrough was achieved after years of campaigning.<\/p>\n

For decades, medical students have been calling for a reimbursement for the two years they spend on clinical rotation in connection with their studies. In contrast with e.g. nursing students, medical students so far received no remuneration for this internship \u2013 even though their long working week leaves them very little time for a job on the side.<\/p>\n
