The work rhythm she was expected to adhere to at secondary school wasn\u2019t entirely first-year law student Julia Federowicz\u2019s cup of tea. She now gets to study late at night, the way she likes to do, but she is quite shocked at the amount of work she is expected to do.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow that I\u2019m at uni, I fortunately have the freedom to schedule my activities the way I want to,\u201d says Julia. It so happens that the 19-year-old is \u2018better at studying late at night\u2019. On weekdays she likes to go to bed at around 3.30am. She generally gets up about five hours later. \u201cThis works for me, so I\u2019m like, right, that\u2019s the way we\u2019ll do it, then. I\u2019m generally OK after one short night. I\u2019m OK on Day 2 as well. Day 3 can be quite hard, but once I\u2019ve gotten over that, I\u2019ll generally be OK for the rest of the week. On weekends I spend less time revising, and I generally go to bed before midnight. And on Mondays I\u2019ll be back to staying up until the wee hours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t
