As of Monday, Randstad, the employment agency, will be sited on the 16th<\/sup> floor of the H-building. Since the Polak building was evacuated last week, due to it being declared unsafe, the Randstad branch had been closed. On Thursday, it was delighted to receive good news about a new site, confirmed Bruno de Nijs, a Randstad employee.<\/p>\n

Randstad has been allocated a site on the 16th<\/sup> floor of the H-building for between four to six weeks, according to De Nijs. \u201cThis coming Monday morning all the furniture will be moved to the new site. Hopefully, we will be able to move in the same afternoon\u201d. Personally, he hasn\u2019t seen the new location yet, but he said that his colleague was \u2018delighted with the accommodation being offered\u2019.<\/p>\n

A hectic week<\/h3>

The Canon Copyshop also hopes to become operational again at the start of next week, announced Dianne van Haver, one of its employees. The shop is to share a joint site with Study Store. They are to occupy the space on the ground floor of the Mandeville (T-building) where the caf\u00e9 \u2018In de Smitse\u2019 used to be situated. Siham Bouhtala, a Study Store service point manager, explained that the main entrance to the shop is to be the door next to the entrance of the T-building, adding that: \u201cWe were thrilled to receive the news after such a hectic week.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a spokesperson from the university, by Friday all the entrepreneurs in the Polak building will know where they will be able to trade from during the coming weeks. The majority has already been informed, however. Also hairdressing salon \u2018Hair Design by Lydia\u2019. The store is located at the ground floor of the Hatta-building, two doors beyond the students cafe\u00a0\u2018In de Smitse\u2019.<\/p>\n
