Esmeralda\u2019s tip:<\/span> Rotterdam Rooftop Days<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cGet down off that roof!<\/a>\u00a0I won\u2019t warn you again, no, no, no, no, get down off that roof! Now!\u201d Nothing could be more apt with Peter Koelewijn at the\u00a0Rotterdam Rooftop Days 2017<\/a>. From\u00a0Friday 9 June<\/strong>\u00a017.00 hrs up to and including Sunday 11 June<\/strong>\u00a018.00 hrs, you can visit no less than seventeen open roofs, including the roof of the Bijenkorf and the Church of St. Lawrence. An absolute must for those who also gladly climbed the stairs to the roof of the Groot Handelsgebouw<\/em>, for example. With a 5 Euro<\/strong>\u00a0roof pass, it\u2019s a cinch to get up there and enjoy the city\u2019s skyline. Special tours can also be booked that you pay a little extra for in addition to your roof pass, such as, Rotterdam from Above. My personal favourite is the rooftop cinema above the former V&D. Not to mention the spectacular high-wire act<\/em>\u00a0on the Lijnbaan, on Saturday! In a nutshell, there\u2019ll be plenty going on; hopefully I\u2019ll see you there!<\/p>\n\t

Jeffrey\u2019s tip:<\/span>\u00a0Boothstock Festival<\/b><\/p>\n

A handful of tantalisingly old-fashioned outdoor parties are coming up over the summer; to start with, the sixth\u00a0Boothstock Festival<\/a>. Here, at the renowned Kralingse Bos<\/em>,<\/strong>\u00a0and on the usual DUO account, you can drink as much festival beer as you can. This annual festival, that\u2019s packed full of surprises, is an event that\u2019s open to all chill techno party aficionados. Boothstock will be held on Saturday 10 June<\/strong>, when the site will be transformed into a dance paradise for more than 10,000 festival-goers. With more than thirty international artists, spread out over six areas, this year is once again guaranteed to provide a wide range of music. Should the 40 Euros<\/strong>\u00a0admission price be a little steep for you, then I recommend keeping an eye on Ticketswap<\/a>. Of course, you could always head to the after-party<\/a> for\u00a015 Euros<\/strong>, where you don\u2019t have to hang around waiting for the party to get going, but instead just dive right into the party spirit.
