Last saturday, dozens of homeless people in Kralingen enjoyed a festive three-course meal at the Havenzicht night shelter and care centre on Willem Ruyslaan. Every year, the students of the student association Laurentius cook up a tasty dinner for Kralingen\u2019s homeless in the dark, wintry period around Christmas.<\/p>\n

In a belated Christmas spirit, the students got together to treat Kralingen\u2019s homeless to a luxurious dinner. \u201cLet\u2019s be honest: compared to the homeless, most students have it relatively easy,\u201d says L\u00e9on Vervooren, one of Laurentius\u2019 board members and coordinator at Stichting Voormekaar, one of the association\u2019s permanent committees.<\/p>\n
