Every Monday, I AM<\/em> puts another fashionable campus inhabitant in the spotlight. This time: Indra Lancien (17). She\u2019s a first year \u00a0International Business Administration (IBA) student.<\/p>\n

Style. <\/strong>\u201cI like comfy clothes, it is important that I feel good in it. I prefer long stuff, tops that are knee length for example. I would call my style street style. I get my inspiration from friends or Tumblr<\/em>, a social media website. You can find a lot of style inspiration on there, most of it \u2018hipster style\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Morocco. <\/strong>\u201cI was born in Morocco and grew up there. I\u2019m originally French though. Life in Morocco is way different than it is here in Rotterdam, there\u2019s a completely different mentality. You can\u2019t always wear what you want there, especially when you are a girl. I do prefer the weather there though, it\u2019s so much colder here. I remember that during the introduction week in Rotterdam we were sleeping in a tent and it was so cold.\u201d<\/p>\n

Travel. <\/strong>\u201cI travelled quite a lot, I go to France for family visits of course but also to Indonesia, California, Canada and other places. If I would have to tell you my favorite city I would have to say Berlin. Maybe it is because it was the first place I visited without my parents, but I fell in love with the city. I went with friends and we did all the touristy things, but we also went partying. It is really liberating to be able to do the stuff you want to instead of following your parents around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Studies. <\/strong>\u201cI decided to study in Rotterdam because the system is very different than in France. If you want to go to a good university you first need to go to a different college for 2 years. You also have to be on top of your game during those years if you want to eventually get in a good university. Because I was not really in the mindset for that I looked up some other good universities. That was when I found RSM, after that I watched a video of the campus and decided I wanted to go here. I Chose IBA because I have always been interested in economics, which was mostly what I did in High School. My dream job would be something in Human Resources, but I\u2019m still young so that could change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t
