According to the University Support Centre (USC), the system will be tested on Friday and should be up and running again by Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The system has been out of order since Monday, 31 May, when it was struck by lightning. As a result, the payment machine network was not functioning properly. The system was supposed to be in working order again in just a few days, only for resumption of service to be delayed until Friday, 10 June.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Total costs unknown<\/h3><p>Ever since 31 May, drivers have been able to park their cars free of charge.
