The raise of 22 euro is the smallest in years. Last year, the tuition fee increased with 33 euro.\u00a0In 2014, the raise even amounted to 71 euro.<\/p>\n<p>The increase did not come unexpected: until the college year 2018-2019, the tuition fee will rise annually with 22 euro. This is due to the plans of former Minister of Education Plasterk, who wanted to allocate this extra amount of money to the salary of teachers.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"localfocusvisual\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"width:600px;height:550px;overflow:hidden\" src=\"https:\/\/localfocus2.appspot.com\/575ec9c006998\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not adjusted for inflation<\/h3><p>Usually, the fees are adjusted for inflation, so the raise could become higher than 22 euro.
