The portrait wall was started in 2022 and shines a light on the lack of gender diversity at the top in the academic world. At the Erasmus University, only 30 per cent of the full professors are women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff and students have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erasmusmagazine.nl\/en\/?p=199756&amp;noredirect=en-GB\">no confidence in the social safety support systems<\/a> of the university. They don\u2019t feel safe to report social unsafety because of possible retaliation, sees the university\u2019s ombudsman. And Criminology scientists from the Erasmus School of Law have teamed up with a theatre and dance company to show the impact of drug traffic in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erasmusmagazine.nl\/en\/2026\/10\/01\/de-emoties-van-wetenschappers-zijn-voelbaar-tijdens-theatervoorstelling-dope\/?noredirect=en-GB\">new theatre play
