Chair Renee de Groot would like nothing better than to see all members and colleagues at her football club Antibarbari being comfortable in their own skin. To achieve this, she has arranged the appointment of a confidential adviser at the club and launched a well-being plan.<\/p>\n

She first took to the pitch as a six-year-old. So when Renee de Groot (20), a second-year International Bachelor Arts and Culture student, joined the football club Antibarbari many years later, she felt right at home. These days, she proudly serves as the club\u2019s chair and figurehead.<\/p>\n

And members of the association appreciate her role, to the point of nominating her for Student of the Year. One of the recommendations she received described her as \u2018the best chair ever\u2019. \u201cShe may not always have it easy, but she\u2019s one in a million\u201d, the recommendation stated. In addition to arranging a confidential adviser, Renee has launched a well-being plan for board members. That said, she is keen to stress that the entire board acts as one.<\/p>\n\n\t
