It’s finally time! After two years, nightlife is back to normal this weekend. For some people, it will take some getting used to, for others it will be their first time since starting their studies. In a city like ours, there are plenty of choices, but what should you go for? Time for a (subjective) guide to the many options that the nightlife in Rotterdam has on offer.<\/p>\n

A night out can start off at a multitude of places, but why make things difficult when they can be easy? As soon as you leave your lecture on campus, there is the easy option of heading straight over to the student caf\u00e9 In de Smitse<\/strong>. I might be biased due to a few amusing years tapping beers there, but cheaper beer \u2013 a glass costs a mere \u20ac1.50 \u2013 is something you simply won\u2019t find anywhere else. On account of the affordable prices and the location, you almost always run into fellow students or other people you know. If De Smitse<\/strong> reminds you too much of the coursework you still have to do, Concordia<\/strong>, the pubs around Oostplein<\/strong>, or the pubs at the old port are classic fallback options to get your evening off to a good start.<\/p>\n\n\t
