\u201cA year and a half ago, my flatmate stalked me and I reported that to the police. They said they couldn\u2019t do anything about it because nothing had happened. The intimidation and the threats I was subjected to didn\u2019t count. I was at the end of my tether when I heard that. So, I understand perfectly well why women are not so keen to report undesirable behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\t
