In the upcoming academic year, many lectures and tutorials will be able to be taught on campus again. Students will be allowed to attend classes in groups capped at 75 people. Executive Board chairman Ed Brinksma is happy about that: \u201cBecause if we have to teach online and observe physical distancing rules, we won\u2019t be able to give our students the kind of scientific training we want to give them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brinksma believes we are at a tipping point in the pandemic. \u201cThe last year and a half have raised our awareness of the risks we run. We\u2019ve learned to avoid taking risks. Now we must revert to a situation in which we accept that risks are part of life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\t
