EUR students are struggling with high stress levels, burn-out symptoms, loneliness, feelings of anxiety and depression. This is evident from the results of the first evaluation of the Student Wellbeing Monitor<\/em>. Rector Magnificus Frank van der Duijn Schouten believes that the excessive performance culture at the university also plays a role in the deterioration of the mental health of students. “We put too much emphasis on performance.”<\/p>\n
