Students and lecturers of the protest movement University Rebellion chained themselves to the entrance of the VSNU office on Friday afternoon. They believe that the university association does not speak out enough about the climate crisis in the political debate.<\/p>\n

Since 12:00 this afternoon, activists of University Rebellion (UR) have been blocking the VSNU headquarters in The Hague. They have climbed up the facade to hang banners and sing songs, as can be seen<\/a> on their Instagram stories. Three people are chained (at an appropriate distance) in front of the entrance to the building and another three on the street. \u201cThey are also glued to the ground,\u201d says a spokesperson for the movement.<\/p>\n\n\t
