Despite the rain and the cold, 37 people participated in the charity run for \u2018Schools for Africa\u2019. <\/p>\n

Despite the rain and the cold, 37 people participated in the charity run for \u2018Schools for Africa\u2019 organized by CEMS Club Rotterdam and held on the Woudestein campus. The RSM students raised 1720 euro and are pleased with the amount. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not a large group within the CEMS programme, so we are very pleased with the number of people that participated and with the money we raised\u201d, Ev Schauble says, who was one of the organizers of the run together with the Sports Board. Schauble and her fellow students enjoyed organizing the run and are planning for a repeat next year, but bigger.<\/p>\n

Unicef<\/strong><\/p>\n

The track of around 800 meters started at the Institutenlaan underneath the library walkway. From there the contestants ran the Hogeschoollaan, Burgemeester Oudlaan and Collegelaan to end up at the start\/finish again. For each lap the participants got money from their sponsors. The point therefore was to run as many laps in one hour. The donations go straight to Unicef, which together with the Nelson Mandela Fund, will build schools for African children. WG<\/p>\n\n\t
