The students gave the teaching they received during the coronavirus crisis an average mark of 5.2 out of 10. However, the marks vary wildly from one faculty to the next. RSM\u2019s classes were awarded the highest mark (5.9), whereas EMC students gave their faculty\u2019s crisis-time teaching a mere 4.4. Asked whether they felt their classes had improved or deteriorated during the coronavirus outbreak, 42 per cent of students replied that their classes had deteriorated slightly during the crisis, while 38 per cent said their classes had deteriorated significantly.<\/p>\n

Not all students had a negative experience. Several students expressed their gratitude for their university or faculty\u2019s ability to switch quickly to online teaching. One ESHPM student indicated that online features such as discussion forums and videos were used well in most of the courses. An EMC student indicated that she had been able to replace her work placement (which had been cancelled) with MOOCs at the suggestion of her programme coordinators.<\/p>\n
