The first edition of Meesterweek (\u2018Master Week\u2019), the career week by and for law students, was organised exactly thirty years ago. \u201cWe\u2019ll be making this anniversary edition extra festive,\u201d says Chair Jonathan Steinvoort, in reference to the upcoming Meesterweek, which runs from 14 to 28 February. \u201cParticularly the opening and the recruitment day are two events that you can\u2019t afford to miss.\u201d Besides law-related subjects, the organisers will also be drawing attention to student welfare and technological issues during the opening event.<\/p>\n

The Meesterweek is intended to help law students gain their bearings in today\u2019s employment market. \u201cEvery year, we bring students in touch with potential employers,\u201d explains Steinvoort. \u201cThis year, our event will be attended by 18 law firms. Students can talk face-to-face with these professionals and participate in a variety of workshops.\u201d<\/p>\n
