This new change is attractive to candidates because individual candidates who receive enough votes to earn a seat on the council can give their “extra” votes to the next candidates on the list.
You can choose from 25 students as your representative in the University Council. These students have organised themselves into ten different ‘lists’. Three lists have multiple members. The remaining seven students are officially standing as independent candidates or as ‘single candidate lists’. View these students here.
