Dr. Fred Petrij is a clinical geneticist and associate professor at Erasmus MC. In the course of the years his focus, besides patient care for people with hereditary questions, has increasingly shifted to providing education, not only for his own discipline but also for the medical training in Rotterdam in a general sense. He has won several teaching awards for this.
The science café will take place in Qarpaccio (also known as Bistro Bar Binnenrotte), admission is free. The spoken language will be Dutch. More info.
