His first book published in 1997, “Has Globalization Gone Too Far? was called “one of the most important economics books of the decade” in Bloomberg Businessweek. Since then, he has published more than four books and considerable research papers. His research focuses on globalization, economic growth and development, and political economy.

Dani Rodrik is currently the Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He was formerly the Albert O. Hirschman Professor of the Social Sciences at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2019, He co-founded the initiative Economics for Inclusive Prosperity, which aims to “ make the discipline of Economics more relevant to today’s pressing policy problems” and advocates for the differentiation between Mainstream Economics and Neoliberalism.
