The theme of the event is ‘Building the Future’. Erasmus University Rotterdam is preparing students for the future and investing in increasing knowledge. With this new and sustainable education building, EUR offers them an inspiring place, where meeting and cooperation are central. A place with hybrid facilities for optimal education. Built with the future in mind; exceptionally sustainable and innovative.
The event will start with an inspiring table discussion, in which presenter and alumnus Talitha Muusse will talk to experts on the topics of sustainability, innovation, future-oriented building and education. A student panel will have the chance to ask challenging questions. This will be followed by the festive opening ceremony, with the official naming of the building. Afterwards, we will toast together, with live music, and you will have the opportunity to look around the building yourself.
