During the Dutch Students Championship team-sailing, the battle will take place on the Kralingse Plas. The Rotterdam Student Sail Association is in charge of the organisation.
Team-sailing is a form of competitive sailing where multiple boats form a team and compete together against the other team. Nowadays, they often sail in the 2K-format: each team consists of 2 keel boats. This format will also be used at this event.
During Team-sailing Rotterdam, student sail associations of The Netherlands will send a team to battle for the title of Dutch Student Champion Team-sailing!
You can compete in the goldfleet or silverfleet.
The silver fleet is a fleet where 8 teams compete with each other to learn as much as possible about team-sailing. During the day there will be a lot of sailing and sailing clinics to learn all the in’s and out’s of team-sailing.
A goldfleetteam consists of 8 persons and a silverfleetteam of 6 persons. The registration fee is 75 euros per participant and for this amount you will be provided for the whole weekend!
There will also be a theme party on Saturday night. The theme and further details about the party will be made public on Facebook and Instagram.
