In the performance Nieuwe Familie (New Family) they look back at that time. How it was for Muayad and Amir to be in a new country. How it was for Sanne to have two Syrian boys as lodgers. In this period they got an understanding of each other’s culture and customs, had big discussions and sang songs together. They tell their impressive story about growing up, choosing family and missing everyone you lose and there is going to be some cooking.
