We will start off the evening by watching the critically acclaimed thriller ‘Run Lola Run’ by famous German director Tom Tykwer. It will be screened in German with English subtitles. The movie was nominated for numerous awards, including the BAFTA Award for Best Non-English Film. It tells the story of Lola who has to help her boyfriend get out of a risky situation. The storyline is divided into three ‘runs’ each resulting in a different outcome, touching on themes like free will vs. determinism and the effects that your everyday-choices can have on your life.
At around 21:00h we will head over to Jazzcafé Dizzy to end the night with drinks, interesting conversations and some good old Jazz! Dizzy is one of original Jazzclubs of the city, having been around for more than 40 years. It is known for its delicious drinks, great music, and authentic atmosphere. We’re gonna spend a fun night, enjoying the music and chatting about the movie and whatever else you want!
