Trompet player Michael Varekamp and band pay a tribute to jazz legend Miles Davis!
One of the all time house hold names of the North Sea Jazz Festival is the great Miles Davis.
Miles was one of the few wizzards in jazz and enlightened the audience more than once in his long career. The Picasso Of Jazz was able to adjust his music every decade or so to the spirit of the age. He worked with and or discovered jazz heroes such as John Coltrane, Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter and John Scofield.
Do you want to know more about Miles and listen to some of his music? Trumpet player Michael Varekamp and his band pay a tribute to The Prince of Darkness!
