Festivals
There are a couple of big festivals where famous dj’s and other Dutch artists will perform.
Kingsland Festival is the biggest one day dance festival of the Netherlands, and the biggest King’s Day festival. Kingsland will be held in Ahoy Rotterdam from 12.00 till 23.00. Tickets and more information.
Het Kroon festival is organised by students and has different stages, food trucks and a chill area. On Willemsplein, from 13.00 till 23.00. Tickets and more information.
Het Kralingse Bos festival is held, surprise surprise, in Kralingse Bos. From 13.00 till 23.00 there are performances on different stages. Tickets and more information.
Het Code Oranje festival is one of the biggest King’s Day festivals in Rotterdam. With performances from for instance Snollebollekes, this will be an amazing party. From 12.00 till 23.00 on Stadhuisplein. Tickets and more information.
Free events
Besides the bigger festivals, there are also some smaller (and free) events where you can celebrate King’s Day.
De Koningskermis takes place on Lloyd Multiplein from 17 April till 5 May. You can enjoy Kingsday with a lot of different activities here. More information.
Tropical Kingsday is a free, smaller festival with food and tropical dance music. Tropical Kingsday is on Heemraadsplein from 10:00 till 23:00. More information.
Containerbar Noord – Koningsdag will build a temporary pub from shipping containers on Noordplein. A drink, burgers and music will be the key to a relaxing event. The event is from 13.00 till 23.00. More information.
