The program of the festival is divided into four different categories, each with its own characteristics.
- “Bright Future” are movies from young, on the rise movie talents with a quirky style and vision.
- “Voices”are movies driven by strong stories, catching topics and big themes.
- “Deep Focus” movies explore the world of cinema with compilations, retrospectives and in-depth programmes.
- “Perspectives” is the section where IFFR presents the most important them programmes and relevant social and political issues are looked upon.
