Dr. Isabel Awad is Associate Professor at the Department of Media and Communication. Her research focuses on the conditions for democratic communication and social justice against a backdrop of social inequality. She is specifically interested in inequalities rooted in notions of cultural and racial superiority and in neoliberalism.
