In response to the public life constraints of Covid-19, IFFR has opted for an expanded, multi-part hybrid event from February to June 2021. The festival opens 1 to 7 February, with physical and virtual screenings of the competition films. In addition, the February dates will feature IFFR Talks, Limelight titles and an online edition of IFFR Pro Days. IFFR will close its anniversary from 2 to 6 June with a festive film programme, open-air presentations and screenings in film theaters throughout the country. The festival dates will be connected by a dynamic range of physical and online events between February and June. With this new format, IFFR continues to unconditionally support independent cinema.
